How to Manage Memberships

Memberships let you control who has access to your Portal and manage your player community.

⭐ Club feature: Memberships and member subscriptions — charging your players a recurring fee for access — are part of the Club plan. Member subscriptions are billed through your connected Stripe account (a 4% fee applies). See Setting Up Paid Memberships (Club) and Managing a Member's Subscription (Club).

Viewing Your Members

From the Players page, you can see all of your members and their current status. This includes:

• Whether they've accepted their invitation and created an account
• Their contact information
• Their game history

Membership Settings

You can configure how memberships work from Settings > Memberships:

• Public sign-ups — Control how new players join: open sign-up, request access (you approve each request), or invitation only. See Choosing Your Member Access Mode.

💡 Tip: If you're running a private group, keep public sign-ups disabled and use invitations to control who can access your Portal. For open communities, enable public sign-ups and share your Portal link ({slug}.mahjpass.com).

Removing a Member

If you need to remove someone from your Portal, you can do so from the Players page. Removed members will no longer be able to log in or register for games.
