Your community has two ways for players to become members, and you switch between them with a single Limit Access toggle under Settings > Community > Members. (Memberships are a Club plan feature — turn Members on first if you haven't.)
The Two Ways Players Become Members
- Limit Access off — Any player can make themselves a member for free, right from their profile. There's nothing for you to approve.
- Limit Access on — Players must request to become a member, and you approve each one before they're in.
💡 You can always invite players directly. Sending someone an invitation isn't a separate mode — it works no matter how Limit Access is set. See How to Invite Members to Your Platform.
Where to Set It
- From the sidebar, tap or click Settings.
- Open Community, then Members.
- Make sure Members is turned on.
- Use the Limit Access toggle — off lets players join on their own, on requires your approval. Your change takes effect right away.
