After completing the onboarding wizard, you'll notice a clipboard icon with a number badge in the top navigation bar. This is the Launch Checklist — your guide to getting your account fully set up.
How It Works
The checklist tracks 9 setup items. Some are automatically completed by the onboarding wizard, while others require a few minutes of your time. Tap the clipboard icon to open the checklist and see your progress.
Each item has a Go button that takes you directly to the right page. Items you don't need right away can be skipped.
Checklist Items
Completed by the Onboarding Wizard
These are typically already done when you first see the checklist:
- Choose a plan — Select your subscription tier (Solo or Club)
- Set up your business — Give your business a name
- Choose your offerings — Enable Games, Events, or Leagues
- Configure membership — Set up how members join and access your offerings
Items for You to Complete
- Customize your Portal — Design your public-facing Portal with your brand colors, logo, and content. Go to the Connect page and open the On the web card to get started. (See How players find you and the Portal articles in the Connect section.)
- Connect Stripe — Set up Stripe to accept payments online for game fees, event registrations, and memberships. Go to Settings > Integrations to connect. (See Connecting Stripe to accept payments for a full walkthrough.)
- Add a location — Add the venue where you host games and events. Go to Settings > Locations to set one up.
- Create your first game — Schedule your first mahjong game session. Head to the Schedule page and tap Schedule Game.
- Invite your first member — Add a player or send an invitation. Go to the Players page and tap Add Player.
💡 Items 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9 can be skipped if they're not relevant yet. Skipped items show as crossed out but won't block your progress.
Tracking Progress
- A progress bar at the top of the checklist shows how many items are complete
- Green checkmarks appear next to completed items
- The badge number on the clipboard icon shows how many items remain
- Completion is tracked automatically — for example, when you add your first location, that item marks itself as done
When You're All Done
Once every item is complete (or skipped), the checklist shows a congratulatory message. On your next visit, the clipboard icon hides from the navigation bar — your setup is finished.
