Omahji uses Stripe to process online payments. Connecting Stripe is what lets you charge players for registrations and memberships and have the money paid out to your bank account. You only need to do this once.
💡 Stripe is free to connect. Omahji's fee on the payments you collect is covered separately in Understanding Omahji's fees.
Why connect Stripe
With Stripe connected, you can:
- Charge for game and event registrations
- Collect league registrations and dues
- Take payments for private sessions
- Sell membership subscriptions
- See all of your transactions in one place
If you only ever collect cash or checks in person, you can skip this — but most online registration and payment features need Stripe.
How to connect Stripe
- From the sidebar, go to Settings > Integrations.
- Find the Stripe card and tap Connect Stripe.
- You'll be taken to Stripe to sign in or create an account.
- Follow Stripe's prompts to enter your business details, identity information, and the bank account where you want to be paid.
- When you're done, Stripe sends you back to Omahji and your status updates to Connected.
⚠️ Stripe needs accurate business and bank details to release your payouts. If Stripe asks for more information later, complete it promptly so your payouts aren't held.
Where your money goes
When a player pays, the money is processed by Stripe and paid out to the bank account you connected, on Stripe's regular payout schedule. Omahji's platform fee is deducted automatically before payout — see Understanding Omahji's fees for the details.
You can review payouts, update your bank account, and download payment records anytime from your Stripe dashboard.
After you're connected
Once Stripe is connected, you're ready to charge for your offerings. Set your pricing and payment options under Settings > Your Offers, then create your first paid game, event, league, or session.
