Once your account is set up and you've added a location, it's time to invite your players to join Omahji.
How to Invite Members
- From the sidebar, tap or click Players
- Click the Add Player button
- Enter the player's details:
- Name — Their full name
- Email — The email address they'll use to log in
- Phone — Their phone number (required)
- Choose to send an invitation email
- Click Save
The player will receive an email invitation with a link to create their account and set a password.
What Do Members See When They Join?
When a member accepts their invitation and logs in to the Portal (or the Omahji app), they can:
- Browse your upcoming game schedule
- Register for games
- View their game history
- Manage their profile
Letting Players Join on Their Own
By default (Limit Access on), players must request to become a member and you approve each one. If you'd like to let players join freely instead:
- Go to Settings > Community > Members
- Turn Limit Access off
With Limit Access off, anyone with your Portal link can become a member without waiting for your approval. Sending someone a direct invitation always works too, no matter how Limit Access is set.

Tips for a Smooth Onboarding
- Add all your players first before sending invitations, so you can batch-invite everyone at once — see Bringing Your Existing Players onto Omahji to import a whole roster from a spreadsheet
- Let members know to check their email — the invitation email contains everything they need to get started
