When players pay you through Omahji — game fees, event tickets, league dues, or private session payments — a small platform fee is taken out before the money reaches your bank account. This article explains that fee and what's changing.
💳 This fee is separate from your monthly Solo or Club subscription. Your subscription covers the platform; this fee applies only when you actually collect a payment from a player.
The transaction fee
Effective July 8, 2026, Omahji's fee on player payments is 3.9% + $0.30 per transaction.

The change adds 1% — Omahji's platform fee — on top of standard card processing. For example, on a $20 game registration, the fee goes from about $0.88 to about $1.08.
What the fee applies to
The 3.9% + $0.30 fee applies to one-time payments players make to you:
- Game registrations
- Event tickets
- League registrations and dues
- Private session payments
Recurring member subscriptions (when members pay you on a recurring schedule) are billed at a separate rate of about 4% and are not affected by the July 8 change.
How you pay it
You never get a separate bill for these fees. They're deducted automatically through Stripe at the moment of each payment, and the remainder is paid out to your connected bank account.

Refunds
When you refund a player, the platform fee is reversed in proportion to the amount refunded — a full refund returns the full fee. Refunds you issue inside Omahji are full refunds (via Decline & Refund on the registration; see Refunding a player payment). To issue a partial refund, use your Stripe dashboard — the fee is reversed for the portion you refund. Stripe's fixed $0.30 processing charge on the original payment is absorbed by Omahji, not passed on to you.
Fees vs. your subscription
Keep these two separate in your head:
- Your subscription — the flat monthly price of your Solo or Club plan. See Understanding your plan and billing.
- Transaction fees — the 3.9% + $0.30 taken from each player payment you collect.
You'll only ever pay transaction fees on money you actually bring in.
