Enabling or Disabling Public Sign-Ups

Control whether new players can register on their own or need an invitation

By default, new members can only join your platform through an invitation you send. You can change this to allow anyone to sign up.

How to Enable Public Sign-Ups

  1. From the sidebar, click Settings
  1. Navigate to the Memberships section
  1. Toggle Allow public sign ups to on
  1. Click Save

With this enabled, anyone who visits your member app URL can create an account.

How to Disable Public Sign-Ups

Follow the same steps above and toggle the setting off. When disabled:

  • The sign-up page will display an "Invitation Required" message
  • Only people with a valid invitation link can create an account
  • Existing members are not affected

Tip: You can toggle this setting on and off as needed. For example, enable it when you're recruiting new players and disable it once your group is full.
