When you charge for league participation, you can offer multiple payment methods so players can pay the way that's most convenient for them.
Available Payment Methods
Cash
Players pay in person at the first session. Their registration is confirmed immediately, and you manually mark them as paid in the registrations tab.
Check by Mail
Players mail a check to your specified address. You can use either:
- Your business address (pulled from your account settings)
- A custom mailing address that you enter specifically for league payments
The mailing address is displayed to players during registration so they know where to send their check.
Credit Card (Stripe)
Players pay online during registration using a credit or debit card. This requires a connected Stripe account. Payments are processed immediately and marked as paid automatically.
Setting Up Payment Methods
- Go to Settings > Offerings > Leagues
- In the Payment Methods card, toggle on the methods you want to accept
- If using Check by mail, choose whether to use your business address or enter a custom address
- Tap Save
To accept credit card payments, you must first connect your Stripe account in Settings > Billing. If Stripe isn't connected, the credit card option won't appear.
How Players See Payment Methods
During registration, players see all enabled payment methods and choose one:
- Cash shows a note that payment is due at the first session
- Check shows your mailing address
- Credit card shows a secure payment form powered by Stripe
League payment methods are configured independently from event payment methods. Changing one doesn't affect the other.
