Once your account is set up and you've added a location, it's time to invite your players to join Omahji.
How to Invite Members
- From the sidebar, tap or click Players
- Click the Add Player button
- Enter the player's details:
- Name β Their full name
- Email β The email address they'll use to log in
- Phone β Their phone number (optional, used for SMS communication)
- Choose to send an invitation email
- Click Save
The player will receive an email invitation with a link to create their account and set a password.
What Do Members See When They Join?
When a member accepts their invitation and logs in to the member app, they can:
- Browse your upcoming game schedule
- Register for games
- View their game history
- Manage their profile
Enabling Public Sign-Ups
By default, members can only join through an invitation. If you'd like to let players sign up on their own:
- Go to Settings
- Find the Memberships section
- Enable Allow public sign ups
With this enabled, anyone with your member app link can create an account and join your platform.
Note: When public sign-ups are disabled, the sign-up page will show an "Invitation Required" message. This is useful if you want to control exactly who has access to your platform.
Tips for a Smooth Onboarding
- Add all your players first before sending invitations, so you can batch-invite everyone at once
- Include phone numbers if you plan to use SMS messaging to communicate with your members
- Let members know to check their email β the invitation email contains everything they need to get started
