If your embed isn't showing what you expect, it's almost always one of a few things. Work through these in order. For the basics of setting one up, see Showing your offerings on your own website.
1. Did you paste the whole snippet?
Your embed code has two parts — a <div> and a <script> tag. If only one made it onto your page, nothing will render. Re-copy the full snippet from Connect → On the web → Embed code and paste both parts together.
2. Are you looking at the live site?
Most website builders don't run embedded code inside their editor or preview. Open your published site in a normal browser tab to check.
3. Did your builder strip the code?
Some page builders remove <script> tags from regular text or content blocks. Make sure you pasted into a dedicated code block — Custom HTML in WordPress, a Code block in Squarespace, or Embed HTML in Wix. On some plans, custom code requires an upgrade.
4. Do you have upcoming offerings?
The embed only shows upcoming offerings — past and full sessions drop off automatically. An empty embed often just means there's nothing scheduled yet. Add or schedule a game in Omahji and it'll appear.
5. Is it a caching delay?
Websites and browsers sometimes cache pages. If you just published, give it a minute, then refresh — or clear your site's cache if your builder has one.
💡 Tip: You never re-paste the snippet just to get new offerings — the embed always reflects your current Omahji schedule. Re-copy the code only when you change what the embed shows or want a fresh styled snippet.
