Hosts are the people who run your games and events in person โ€” a simple roster you can assign to a game or event, separate from who's logged into Omahji.

๐Ÿ’ก Hosts don't need their own Omahji account. Adding someone as a Host doesn't give them login access โ€” it just lets you assign them as the host of a game or event and show their name to players.

Adding a Host

  1. Go to Settings > Team > Hosts
  2. Tap Add Host
  3. Fill in their First Name and Last Name (required)
  4. Optionally add an Email, Phone, and a photo
  5. Save

Turning On Host Selection

Hosts only show up when scheduling a game or event if you've turned on host selection for that offering type:

  • Enable host selection for games
  • Enable host selection for events

You can add hosts before turning these on โ€” they just won't be assignable to a game or event yet.

Removing a Host

Removing a host marks them inactive rather than deleting their record, so games and events they've already hosted keep showing their name in your history.

Hosts vs. Users

Hosts are just a roster for assigning who ran a session โ€” they're separate from Users (Settings > Team > Users), which are real login accounts for your Instructor Portal. See Adding Team Members to Your Instructor Portal if you want to give someone actual login access.
