If you run games on a regular weekly schedule, here's how to set it up quickly using Omahji's recurring games feature.

Step 1: Plan Your Week on the Calendar

Start by going to the Schedule page. This gives you a month-view calendar where you can see which days already have games and where the gaps are.

Look for the days you typically run games and make sure they're covered.

Step 2: Create a Recurring Series

For a game that happens on the same day and time every week, set it up once as a recurring series instead of scheduling each week by hand:

  1. On the Schedule page, tap Create and choose Game
  2. The scheduling panel opens on the right side of the screen
  3. Choose a time slot — the available hours are based on your Game Hours setting (configured in Settings > Offerings > Games)
  4. Set the Repeats dropdown to your cadence (for example, Weekly) instead of Does not repeat
  5. Choose which day(s) of the week it runs on
  6. Set the max players, location, and host, and optionally add food options, session notes, or a seating layout
  7. Click Save

Omahji generates the upcoming sessions in the series automatically. You can add more sessions to the series later from the Game Series detail page, and pause, resume, or end the series at any time.

💡 Tip: Your game defaults (duration, max players, etc.) are pre-filled based on your settings. Configure these once in Settings > Offerings > Games to save time when scheduling.

Step 3: Add One-Off Variations

Running an extra game outside your regular pattern, or need a single week to look different from the rest? Schedule it separately with Repeats set to Does not repeat, or Duplicate an existing game and adjust the date, time, or details.

Step 4: Verify on the Calendar

Once you've scheduled everything, go back to the Schedule page and scan the week. You should see turquoise game chips on each day you planned. If anything looks off, click the chip to edit — or open the series detail page to pause, resume, or end the whole series.
