Each offer type in Omahji has its own settings page where you control how it appears to players and how payments are handled. This article explains the settings that are common across all offer types.

Go to Settings > Your Offers in your instructor portal to find these options.

Enabling and disabling offerings

The Offerings Overview tab shows all four offer types with an on/off toggle for each. Turning an offering off hides it from your Portal and disables the ability to create new items of that type.

You can re-enable an offering at any time without losing your existing games, events, leagues, or session types.

Show on landing page

Each offering has a Show on landing page toggle. When on, a section for that offering appears on your Portal home screen. When off, the offering is still accessible by direct link but won't be featured on the landing page.

Access level

The Access Level card controls who can see and register for an offering. There are three options:

SettingVisibilityWho can register
Public — open registrationEveryoneEveryone
Public — members onlyEveryoneMembers only
Private — members onlyMembers onlyMembers only

ℹ️ These options only appear if the Members feature is enabled on your account. Without members, all offerings are open to everyone.

You can also set a per-item access override. For example, you can set your default game access to "public — open" but mark an individual game as "members only." The override is set when creating or editing the specific game, event, or session type.

Pricing

Games, events, and leagues all have a Pricing card in their settings. You can:

  • Enable or disable pricing — when disabled, the offering is free (no price shown).
  • Set a single price — one price for all registrants.
  • Split pricing — set separate member and non-member prices.

When pricing is enabled and you have a price greater than $0, you can also choose the payment collection method:

  • Pay to register — payment is collected at signup via Stripe. Requires Stripe to be connected.
  • Pay later — the price is displayed for reference, but payment is collected outside Omahji.

💳 Online (Stripe) payments are subject to a platform fee of 3.9% + $0.30 per transaction (effective July 8, 2026), deducted automatically from your Stripe payout (see Understanding Omahji's fees).

💡 Events use a simplified pricing card that doesn't include the collection method toggle — payment method is configured separately in the Payment Methods section.

Tax

If you charge sales or admissions tax, you can apply it per offer type:

  1. Create reusable tax rates in My Account > Business Info — open the Your taxes card, tap Add Tax, and enter a name and rate (%). The same tax can be applied to games, events, leagues, and personal session types.
  2. In an offer's pricing settings, turn on the Tax toggle, pick a saved tax, and choose whether to check Include tax in price:
  • Unchecked — tax is added on top of your price at checkout.
    • Checked — your price already includes the tax; players pay exactly your price and the tax appears as a line item.

For personal sessions, tax is set on each session type rather than on the settings page.

ℹ️ You're responsible for setting the correct rate and for complying with your local and state tax laws. Omahji applies the percentage you set but does not determine, file, or remit taxes on your behalf.

Payment methods

Each offering (except games, which use Stripe only) has a Payment Methods section where you can enable multiple ways for players to pay:

  • Cash — shown to players as "Pay at the [game/session/event]"
  • Check by mail — players mail a check; you can use your business address or enter a custom mailing address
  • Stripe — online card payments via your connected Stripe account

⚠️ Stripe payments require you to connect a Stripe account in Settings > Integrations. Until Stripe is connected, online payment collection is unavailable.

Scheduling hours and defaults (Games only)

The Games settings page also includes:

  • Scheduling hours: The start and end hours available when creating games, plus your timezone.
  • Default game settings: Default duration and max capacity pre-filled when you create a new game. Configure these once to save time.

Registration forms (Events and Leagues)

Events and leagues both support custom registration forms. Go to the Registration Form tab in their settings to add custom fields that players fill out when they register. These fields appear on the registration page in your Portal.
