Once you publish an offering, players can find it, register, and pay — all without you lifting a finger. Here's what that experience looks like from the player's side.
Where players book
Players reach your offerings in three places:
- Your Portal (
yourclub.mahjpass.com) — the landing page shows a section for each offering you've set to Show on landing page (Games, Events, Leagues, Personal Sessions), plus any direct links you share. - The Omahji app — players who've installed it browse and book from their phone.
- Embeds — if you've added an offerings embed to your own website.

Browsing and choosing
A player opens an offering and sees its details — date, time, location, host, price, and how many spots are left — then taps Book or Register to start.
Paying
What the player sees next depends on how you've set up pricing and payments:
- Free offerings — the player just confirms. The button reads Confirm Booking.
- Online card payment (Stripe) — a checkout opens with an order summary and total. The player enters card details (or taps a saved card) and taps Pay $X.XX. If you've shared a discount code, a code field appears here.
- Cash or check (pay later) — the player books without paying online and settles up with you in person. You record the payment afterward with Mark Paid.
🧾 If you've applied a tax to the offering, it's reflected in the checkout total. When tax is added on top of your price, players see it as a separate line item in the order summary; when it's included in your price, the total is unchanged and the tax is shown within the breakdown. You set this up per offer type in Settings > Your Offers (see Offer Settings overview).
💳 Online card payments carry a platform fee of 3.9% + $0.30 per transaction (effective July 8, 2026), deducted automatically from your Stripe payout — see Understanding Omahji's fees. Collecting online requires a connected Stripe account in Settings > Integrations.
After booking
- The player sees a confirmation screen — You're Booked! — with the date, time, and location.
- They receive a confirmation email.
- The booking appears in your registration or booking list on your Schedule page, where you can track who has paid and manage the roster.
