You can update a one-time (non-recurring) game or event at any time after you create it. Editing changes the details of that single item — it does not cancel it or remove anyone who has already booked.

ℹ️ This article covers standalone games and events. For repeating items, see How do I manage a recurring game series? and How do I manage a recurring event series?. If the game or event belongs to a series, its name and description are set on the series and can't be changed on the individual occurrence — but you can still override every other detail (date, time, price, capacity, location, and more) on that occurrence.

Opening the edit form

  1. Go to the Schedule page in the left navigation.
  2. Tap or click the game or event to open its details page.
  3. Tap or click Edit Game (for a game) or Edit Event (for an event).

What you can change

The edit form lets you update the same fields you set when you created the item, including:

  • Title / Name and Description
  • Date, Start Time, and Duration (games) or End Time (events)
  • Max Players / Capacity
  • Booking / Registration Deadline
  • Price — a single price or separate member / non-member pricing
  • Host and Location
  • Additional Notes and the cover image
  • Access Level (shown only if the Members feature is enabled)
  • Published status — publish the item or switch it back to a draft

Tap or click Save Changes to apply your edits.

How edits affect existing bookings

  • Existing bookings are kept. Editing details does not unregister anyone who has already booked.
  • Players are not automatically notified. If you change the date, time, or location, let booked players know yourself — email them directly.
  • Lowering the capacity below the number of players already booked does not remove anyone. The lower limit simply stops new bookings until there's room again.
  • Changing the price affects new bookings only. Players who already paid are not re-charged, and a lower price is not automatically refunded.

📣 Whenever an edit changes when or where players need to show up, send your booked players a quick email — edits are silent on the player's side.

Editing vs. cancelling

Editing updates the details of a game or event that is still happening. To call it off entirely, use Cancel Game (or the Cancel button on an event) instead — see How do I view and manage game bookings? and How do I manage event registrations? for how cancelling and refunds work.
