Waivers let you collect a liability waiver signature from your members before they use your Portal.
Creating Your Waiver
- Go to Settings > Community > Waivers
- Turn on Enable Waivers
- Edit the Waiver Title (defaults to "Liability Waiver") and write your Waiver Text
- Save
There's one active waiver per instructor at a time, but every save keeps a full version history.
⚠️ Once members have signed, editing the waiver text creates a new version and requires everyone to re-sign — a confirm dialog warns you before this happens. Existing signatures are preserved against the version they were signed for, so you can always see who signed what.
When Members Are Asked to Sign
Once waivers are enabled, any member whose waiver is unsigned or out of date is redirected to sign it the next time they visit your Portal or app — on any page, not just when registering for something. The instructor's own account is exempt.
💡 There's also a "Require signature before registration" toggle in the settings — today it doesn't change this behavior. Signing is enforced site-wide as soon as Enable Waivers is turned on, regardless of this toggle.
What a Member Sees
To sign, a member types their name and confirms an age-certification checkbox. If they've already signed the current version, nothing more is asked of them.
Tracking Signatures
The Waivers settings page also shows a full list of signatures — player name, email, which version they signed, and the date. Filter by Current Version or Previous Versions, and export any individual signature as a PDF. There's no bulk export today.
