If a subscription payment doesn't go through, your account moves through a few states before access is limited. Here's what each one means and how to get back to normal. You can always check your current status in Account > Plan & Billing.
What the statuses mean
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Past Due | A payment failed and will be retried. Update your card to avoid an interruption. |
| Grace Period | Your trial or subscription has lapsed, but you still have access for a limited time. Resolve billing before it ends. |
| Locked | The grace period has expired and access is limited until your billing is resolved. |
How to restore access
- Go to Account > Plan & Billing.
- Tap or click Manage in Stripe to open the Stripe customer portal.
- Update the card on file (or pay any outstanding invoice).
- Once the payment succeeds, your status returns to Active and full access is restored.
💡 If your account is locked and you need to start a new subscription, choose your plan again in the Plan Selector on the Plan & Billing tab, then complete checkout.
